Here are a couple pictures of Jack & his daddy, since I see Ryan hasn't posted any yet. Jack really responds to Ryan--he knows who his daddy is!

Well, little jack is into his sixth day and doing great. He is feeding well, we love his awake times, eyes wide open taking in everything his little eyes can handle, moving his arms and legs around and to our surprise his little neck is pretty strong, at least we think so, he can hold his head up for a few seconds and can turn his head side to side in bed. He seems to foil every swaddle attempt we make by getting his arms out. We're learning lots, trying to figure out his different crys loving every minute. Enjoy the pictures.

Annoucing Jack August Helmkamp

Jack August Helmkamp named after his grandpas was born on January 31st, 2011 at 8:35 am weighing 6 lbs. 14 ounces and 20 inches long. He came 11 days early right before a big snow storm. Both mom and jack are doing great, praise the Lord for his new creation. Here are a couple of pictures of the little guy. Enjoy.
