Well, little jack is into his sixth day and doing great. He is feeding well, we love his awake times, eyes wide open taking in everything his little eyes can handle, moving his arms and legs around and to our surprise his little neck is pretty strong, at least we think so, he can hold his head up for a few seconds and can turn his head side to side in bed. He seems to foil every swaddle attempt we make by getting his arms out. We're learning lots, trying to figure out his different crys loving every minute. Enjoy the pictures.
That first picture is so precious! There is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping baby. I can't believe how much hair he has! Neither of my boys had that much hair till almost a year.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you all this afternoon...and to let the kids meet Jack. As I said, they all think he's pretty wonderful...and Jay especailly likes his little hands. Thanks for sharing your holding time with all of us. Photos tomorrow...maybe a little more blog-fodder, as you know I took plenty. Got some sweet ones with his eyes open.
ReplyDeleteWe know you'll have a wonderful day with Jack and Beth, introducing Jack to his first name, namesake.
Keep the blog photos and news coming...when you have the time. I can't believe I forgot to buy a webcam to figure out how to skype. I'll have to make a rule here...first homework, then skype the baby!
love you all,
mom on the farm
Your blog clock is wrong for my post, as it's really 10:20pm, and I hope you're getting some rest! If it were only 8:15pm, I'd be downloading those sweet photos.
