Lane holds any ribbon he can find in the fist of his thumb-sucking hand when he sucks his thumb. (Like Jack does with his blanket--not sure if that's where he learned it or not.) He was snacking on some tortillas the other day as I was working in the kitchen. I looked over to find him sucking his thumb, using his tortilla like he does a ribbon. It seems this guy could possibly end up being our family clown.
