Friday Morning Fun

Ryan had a super productive week, so we all got rewarded on Friday morning.  (I think I was included b/c I did such a stellar job at keeping Jack out of the office all week. *note sarcasm*)  Ryan heard that Van & Bonnie were down at the fair grounds at the model train museum, so he took the morning off and we all went down to show Jack the trains.  (What a great dad!)  Oh, and I can't for get to mention that there were FREE CORN DOGS...yep, at 8 in the morning!  :) *gag*  ...okay, so I had a few bites, and it was better than what I remember from the Rolfe elementary lunch room!

but then warmed up and kept wanting more trains to come by.

Happy Easter!

We had a fun afternoon with friends on Easter...brunch after church and then an egg hunt and bubbles for the little ones!

Jack & Lane

These are really the first "brother pictures" we have, and they document one of the three times Jack has asked to hold Lane.  This holding was the longest and lasted for about 3.5 seconds (then, as with the other 2 times, Lane got "too heavy")...enough time for a picture, and only because I was very prepared!

And I'm a week behind, but here's our little Laner at 1 month.  He's been an awesome baby so far...very content and sweet and so fun during his alert times, which are becoming more frequent.

Babysitters

These are from a couple weeks ago, but I wanted to say a BIG thanks to Alisa and Anne for volunteering (without us asking...a parent's dream come true! :)) to watch the boys so we could go out.

I think Jack thinks Anne is another one of his aunts!

Crazy to think I used to babysit Anne when she was probably not a whole lot older than Jack is now.  I know she's a good sitter since she had such great examples growing up! :P

Ryan was out of town last week and we got lucky with it being spring break for both Alisa and Marcie, so between the two of them and mom coming down we stayed plenty busy and had lots of help.
