These guys LOVE their daddy!

Dad and Mom's Grand Ideas

One of our recent library books was "Eggbert the Slightly Cracked Egg".  After reading it to Jack, Ryan asked Jack if he wanted to paint an egg, which quickly turned into all of us painting an egg.  The seriousness with which everyone (except Lane--his was the more-than-slightly cracked egg [hard boiled of course!] by the end :)) painted their eggs was quite humorous. :)

(Notice "Eggberts" to the top left)

Lane wanted his picture taken as well

Mom's latest "grand" idea was a couple of big boxes and the contents of the paper shredder.

BIG hit...BIG mess!

The photos don't come close to doing the mess justice
...but it was so worth it :)

You make the mess...You clean it up :)
(Actually, using the vacuum is a highly sought after "chore")

Okay, so Lane really should have been the
one with the vacuum!

Lane Samuel

Quite pleased with his Lloyd Christmas haircut
(hate it when that happens!) and big brother's boots :)

Where else would the oranges go when mom
lets you have a truck on your tray?!

And the tables turn...

We warned him it was coming!

All in good fun...THIS time!

The End of Summer...here comes Fall!

Fishing with Papa during a visit to St. Louis

My little Joey

Riding the Trolley in Boone...

...all decked out in our Cyclone gear the morning before the big game

We accidentally chose to go ride the trolley the weekend
Thomas the Tank Engine was in town.  Good timing!

It's been a joy to watch these two play together more lately.

#3

Thought this little one deserved his/her own post for their debut on the blog.  These are a few of the ultra sound pictures we got a few weeks ago.

21 weeks

I've always thought the spinal pictures are fascinating

See you in November...or December!

July 2014

It's looking like this might become a monthly update.  So here's some of what we've been up to in July...

Fun with Tabby

A visit from Grammi & Papa

Wave if you like Dad's snacks better than Mom's!

What a great vacation!

Getting ready to boat

The kids' table

Can't play hard ALL the time!

Relaxing before supper after a hard day on the lake!

We ate great all week, thanks to Shaylyn's planning and cooking.

I think Lane's favorite meal was the lasagna.

Just for fun...an "Un-Birthday" or "Half-Birthday" Party for the boys

This was a LOT easier to clean than the lasagna,
which left him looking spray-tanned :)
