A Lunch Break Request

Here are some randoms for a certain someone who requested some entertainment while she eats her lunch... :)

I underestimated the joy of watching your kids
become friends!  (Friends do still fight though...)
Our good friend Lainey...she is
such a sweet friend!
Our little cuddle bug, who is a bit of a daddy's boy!

BSF ended a couple of weeks ago and apparently Jack just couldn't
go a Wednesday w/out "Bible class", so the first Wednesday after it
ended he had Bible class with Lane.  Here they are having their snack.
(Lane played along WONDERFULLY for snack time...not sure
about the rest of the time though...)
Jam session with mom
Happy Mother's Day with two of my favorite guys!
(Have a good afternoon, Missy!)

Murder Mystery Dinner

We had a "Murder Mystery Dinner"/live Clue game Sunday night w/ the youth.  Ryan and I's parts were Mr. & Mrs. Grey; owners of the manor and hosts of the party.  Mr. Grey was an aspiring politician who loves the limelight (ha!), and Mrs. Grey was his sparkling wife (good thing for HS girls who are in dance and willing to loan old costumes out!).  Fun night w/ the kids and other leaders!

Science Center w/ Aunt Jana

Jana and a couple friends came down for a morning at the Science Center during their Easter break.  What a fun morning!

This exhibit is definitely one of our favorites
Getting ready to race his Lego car
Lane's dream-land...BALLS!
More balls for Lane!

Lane's "Mean Face"

Lane has developed a scowl that Jack calls his "Mean Face".  He sometimes does it if we tell him "no" or don't give him what he wants.  Other times he seems to do it for a laugh, as that's what Jack does when he sees him doing it.  In these cases he'll hold the scowl for quite awhile and then break into a big grin.
This particular morning Lane was not wanting Ryan OR I
to feed him, so we got the scowl.

This is an example of the post-scowl grin, which leads me
to believe it is ALL for show sometimes!

We finally found the right solution...Lane just wanted Jack to feed him!
Making sure dad knows he is NOT happy with him.

K4T

Jack was lucky enough to get to go to Kid's 4 Truth for the last few months this year.  He LOVED it.  Here he is before the last K4T of the year.  (He chose the shirt to wear under his K4T shirt...it had something to do with it matching something he sees on the screen each week...???)

Whatever works!

Lane holds any ribbon he can find in the fist of his thumb-sucking hand when he sucks his thumb.  (Like Jack does with his blanket--not sure if that's where he learned it or not.)  He was snacking on some tortillas the other day as I was working in the kitchen.  I looked over to find him sucking his thumb, using his tortilla like he does a ribbon.  It seems this guy could possibly end up being our family clown.

Charlotte

Ryan's cousin Angie got married last weekend so we all headed out to Charlotte, NC.  Fun to have everyone in one place again!

Watching the plane we missed by about 5 minutes pull away without us! :P

We got to meet little Annabella for the first time.
What a sweetie!
