Jack's annual STL visit

Jack got to spend about four days w/ Grammi & Papa and then the rest of us got a day or so with them when then brought Jack back.  Jack had a great time and it sounds like they enjoyed him too.  We appreciated a quiet house for a few days, but definitely missed the little guy!

Reading with Grammi

Lane got his share of attention too!

Getting some Grammi time

Guess who this guy ate lunch with....PAPA!

Dad & his boys

Iowa State Football

The Warricks invited us to go to the Iowa State game w/ them on Saturday.  Somehow we ended up with matching shirts! :)

Thank Goodness for Skype!

We're thankful we can keep up with Grammi and Papa through Skype.  Now we just have to convince Ryan's brothers to get it so the boys can see their cousins! :)

Jack wanted to take a picture of Grammi and Papa...

A Lesson in Baking with Kids

Jack and I made some cookies for Aunt Laurie for her Birthday.  I learned that a few more instructions are important at times...such as, "LOW speed/one knotch/SLOW/etc."...especially when referring to mixer speed.  Oh well!

You can't quite tell, but he had a pretty good
dusting of cocoa on his face and shirt.

Time to lick the beater...

He told me, "Oh, I got some on my hands, Mom."  Really...!

Family Weekend

Thanks Dad and Mom for planning a weekend for family.  We had a great time with everyone--shooting (guys), farmer's market (ladies), beach, boat ride, etc.

Jack had PLENTY of people to play with him this weekend.  Here are just a few pictures of some of his fun...

Playdough with Jana

Water table/job site with Kara

Driving a tractor w/ Mitch (use your imagination!)

And Mitch (Master Griller) made sure we ate well.  Here is his stack of chops ready to go on the grill!

Donkey Pile

"I'm riding on Yane!"

What a good sport

Still smilin'...even after being ridden by his big brother
