My Boys

These two boys are making me love being a mom these days.  I know what you're thinking...give it a few months, you'll be begging to go back to work!  Yeah, we have our fits and not-so-great days, but I honestly can't complain.  These two are a blast most days, most of the time!  We're very blessed.

JACK AUGUST...2 1/2

"Yook Mom!" 

"Pum ride wit me mom. I scootch over."
I thanked him for the compliment, and then
let him know that I would not in fact in there
with him.  (Raincheck for his first real car.)

Jack made me "pancakes" the other night...hauled the table
and chairs in and got our dishes.  I got syrup on mine...
Ryan got black olives on his the next morning.  I'm sure
Ryan was glad it was all pretend...I got the way better deal! 

LANE SAMUEL...4 months

Love these big brown eyes!  They're usually accompanied by
a grin at the least...he's got me wrapped around his little finger! 

I always wanted my kid to fall asleep playing or eating
or  something like that.  It finally happened :D
(...guess I missed the "sleepy cue"!)

Growing up...

Lane will be 4 months a week from today.  I guess I forgot how quickly they change.  It's amazing to remember the helpless little bundle he was just a few months ago as we interact with him these days.  (I suppose he's still just as helpless now really!)

He's turned into a tummy sleeper...

These two little boys couldn't have a better daddy.  I thought I knew how good he would be, but I way underestimated!  Wouldn't want to raise these two guys with anyone else.

Marcie and Taylor HIRCOCK!

Once again, I completely failed in the picture-taking area at another sister's wedding.  We had a great weekend at Hidden Acres watching these two get hitched.  It was a beautiful wedding. and even a little rain at the reception didn't hinder the fun.  Marcie was BEAUTIFUL of course, and Taylor was looking pretty sharp himself!

This a few weeks pre-wedding, but I can't make a post to document
their wedding w/out a picture of the two of them! 

There couldn't have been a better place to stay and get ready
than at the cabin we got to use--it was PERFECT!
