Yep. That's pure and deep slumber. When he's older, you might feel like the mother in the cartoon I remember. The parents are standing at the doorway, watching a child sleep. The mom says, "If I could only think of it as sleeping, and not recharging his batteries!"
But you're going to love the "busy" part, too...most days...after the fact...when everything turns out all right...and nobody got hurt. That's your mom talking, and you know we've had such adventures here with boys. So has Ryan's mom, I'm certain and have heard some of it. Also judging from you great photo of her pile of boys on the bed.
